Cable 8 Productions has served WSU students since 1986, it was created to give students hands-on experience producing and directing television shows while attending to Murrow College. For students who want to cover sports, there is no other place to get experience than Wazzu Sports Network. It is a student-run show platform for students to create, direct and edit sports shows to follow their passion.
The organization has grown rapidly in a year with there being five shows and over 30 members from just a few members the year before. I currently work as a talent in Wazzu Sports Network, and I think that Cable 8 really represents a place like no other in Pullman, filled with a lot of memories and experiences from people who used to run and work at this place.
