The WSU Clock Tower

Square

This project focuses on a historic landmark in Pullman, Washington which is one of Washington State University’s most well known features. Time is very important, the WSU Bryan Hall Clock Tower represents a lot of things here in Pullman. It tells us what time it is by its mighty gongs, and gives a strong signal of how much time students have before classes start. Students will often start to rush to class based on the gong sound from the clock at the top of the hour. However, once classes are over, the gong will sound at the top of the hour, indicating that it is time for students to leave class. During this time there is a huge rush of people and students going from class to home, or class to class.
