Skyview Drive is a road that runs less than a quarter of a mile in Pullman, Washington. At the end of Skyview Drive, there is a tiny dirt road that is separated by a chain-link fence and several barricades to keep cars off the dirt. At the end of this road is an undeveloped field that sits on top of a crest. This was one of my favorite spots to rest, relax, and reset. From this crest, you can see almost 360 degrees across Pullman. It is above the roof level of every nearby building and there are few things that interrupt the panoramic view. There is a lone tree that stands in almost the exact center of this empty field. The tree is a great spot to read a book or read the inside of your eyelids. I was able to capture the environment that I really liked at the crest. It wasn’t a scorching day but the afternoon sun’s light intesity could be felt.
