A group of women all reside in a common household. Regardless of where people are from we are able to build connections and make memories by showing our true selves effortlessly. Kappa has become a home away from home where I have met a variety of woman. Kappa lives by the statement “Live Kappa,Live Boldly.”This statement is something that has been able to stick by my side during rough and hard times in college. As I entered into my Freshman year, college was a tough realization for me to understand as to why I felt so alone in such a large community. Once I was able to join my sorority I felt a sense of happiness that I felt with my friends during highschool. I refer back to “Live Boldly” every so often because it was that phrase that embraced me out of my shell.
