The WSU Valley Road Playfields are a place that I frequent quite often when in Pullman. My apartment is just a one-minute walk from the fields and has been a haven for me when I need a place to relax. Having a baseball background, I find that I am able to become calm walking the perimeter of the fields. I also enjoy going to the fields to throw a baseball with my girlfriend. My girlfriend played college softball before transferring to WSU to be with me. We find common ground at the playfields and it has helped strengthen our relationship. To me, the fields are more than just a place, they are an escape.
