My goal for this project was to find something that can truly only be found in Pullman, Washington and on the Washington State University Campus. Art is the essence of uniqueness, and I was lucky to find three artists that allowed me to photograph them. I also wanted to call attention to a saying that may not be known off campus, “Cougs help Cougs.” These photographs I took could be captured by anybody with the confidence to walk into buildings, meet new people and ask if they’d like their picture taken.
I photographed 3 students working on their passion. I want the viewer to get the sense that they are walking along with me, so getting the right background was important to me. Art is a broad topic, so I separated the project to focus on two mediums, audio art and visual art.
