Photographing the Photographer

Photos and Writing by Elliott Wong

There is something unique about the way we progress in life. We don't grow up automatically knowing certain things, we learn it from somewhere. I didn't always have a camera in my hand. It wasnt until the middle of high school when i was first introduced into the world of DSLRs.

I decided to make my friend, Megan Callahan, the focus of my project. She was my first photography teacher, and has been with me every step of the journey. She taught me the basics and took me on adventures. The equipment I use today is inspired by her teachings. My style comes from trial an error, but my photographer's eye was developed with her help. I am forever grateful for Megan for teaching me my lifelong hobby. This one's for you Megan.
