WSU Global Learning Center

Washington State University creates many opportunities for its students to thrive. One that I am passionate about is the ability for students to study abroad. For me, it was a life changing experience. There are different ways that students can go abroad which is why we say education abroad instead. They can do a traditional study abroad, an internship, research or service learning. Many students think that it will be too expensive, their majors are too difficult, or that they don’t have time. However, at WSU Global Learning Center we say that ANYONE can pursue education abroad, ANYWHERE and at ANY TIME.

Here is a look into what my life as a Peer Advisor for the Global Learning Center is like.

A map of all the continents on the wall leading to the center.

Pictures that win the competition are hung on the opposite wall.

One of the advisors is pulling pamphlets for her student.

Two peers are talking about their days.

On each wall of the office there are program options. This is the Provider wall.
