Behind The Faces Of Strangers
Photos and Writing by Sadie Scott
My vision for this project was to see the behind the scene personalities of strangers. I wanted to capture people coming out of their shell. All photos are staged portraits. I started off by telling the subjects to just act natural and that I only needed one natural photo of them. After that shot was taken, I would keep my camera up give them a compliment on their apparence and then would quickly snap a picture of their reaction. After taking the second photo, the subject almost felt familiar to me. Suddenly we had something to smile and laugh about together. Getting good cannadates was tough at times because some people would have no reaction at all to the compliments. Therefore I would have to disgard those photos and find a another person.
