On Sept 29, 2002, Carlos Alejandro Motta was born with "Cleft Palate and Lip." Since then, Motta has become the definition of a real fighter that faces adversity on the daily. He doesn’t let any obstacles get in his way to become a future soccer star and a classroom role model. In only 15 years, Motta has had countless surgeries which I couldn’t even imagine myself going through. Motta finishes his homework early in the afternoon so that around 9 pm every night he can practice his dribbling and shooting skills. Others might feel petty for him, he sees himself as just another kid. His mentality to be the best soccer player ever is his motivation to overcome all odds.
Motta is a true warrior who will become a soccer legend with his will and strength despite a cleft palate and lip.
