She even had the single game steals record. She decided to come to Washington State with the intention of walking on to the team. In September of 2017 she tried out and unfortunately did not make the team. She took on the role ofbeing a manager in order to learn what it takes to be at a college level and to build a better relationship with the team. She continues to work towards another opportunity to walk on next season despite her injury.

After a year and a half of two a days at the gym and playing basketball, Kassuba suffered a stress fracture from over use and now uses her scooter to get from place to place.

She managed to make modified workouts in order to keep in shape and not further her injury.

Throughout her career she played on multiple high school and aau teams, travelling to 15+ different states. She played all positions 1-5 but found that shooting gaurd is her favorite.

Everyday she continues to make at least 200 baskets.

The work she puts in everyday is the labor of doing what she loves and working back to a healthy status.

She incorporates her scooter into her workouts.

She puts her all into every workout, modified or not she always gives 100% because she knows the harder the works the better the payoff will be.
