Whitman Count Humane Society

For my final project I decided to do my photo essay on the Whitman Country Humane Society. At the Humane Society they shelter animals without a home while trying to find them a new home. Majority of the work here is volunteer and I believe it is the ultimate example of a labor of love. I found out that Saturdays are their community clean up days, so I was able to come in a see some of the volunteers in action helping to keep the environment for the animals clean and healthy. At the humane society I was able to see them help clean the living spaces of cats, dogs, rabbits and even guinea pigs. The volunteers here really love all animals and want to do anything they can to make the animals lives just a little easier. If you are ever interested in volunteering please contact the Whitman County Humane Shelter!
