"Exercise With Purpose"

Meet Brennan Quirk; Who at first glance may not look like he needs the gym, but under all the muscle and size resides a motivated, ambitious and compassionate individual who is not only working out for himself, but for others as well.
Quirk, 21, and a Junior at Washington State University used to struggle with weight; weighing in at 265 lbs. Self-conscious to say the least, after years of struggle, his mental battle took a turn and Quirk made the decision to switch his life around. He bought a membership and two years later he has dropped an impressive 40 lbs.
It doesn’t stop there.
After two years of hard work and mental growth, Quirk has now transitioned into helping others combat their physical health, while simultaneously helping with mental health as well. He started his own company by the name of BFitness, where he prides on individual growth in all aspects of life while mainly focusing on exercise. He provides workout and meal plans, supplement reviews and life blogs where he gives insight on what he believes makes a happy life. Quirk’s goal is to educate, inform and provide for anyone that needs help. He wants to promote that exercise can be a “way out.”
I was fortunate enough to follow and interview Brennan Quirk during his normal workout routine. His intensity and passion is clearly displayed throughout his workout. It’s his escape, and he says he will always “exercise with purpose.”
Brennan Quirk: "Pre-workout was a huge help toward my own self-initiative to workout."
Brennan Quirk: "Putting the correct things in your body is crucial."
Brennan Quirk: "Walking into the gym becomes the easiest and most inviting thing to do; if you do it right and respect the process."
Brennan Quirk: "Working out is another form of meditation, but your not carrying a yoga mat."
Brennan Quirk: "Effort and self-motivation will be a key deciding factor in regard to change".
Brennan Quirk: "Don't change for other people, change because YOU want it and aim to prove yourself right"
Brennan Quirk: "Be somebody that is strong enough to make change."
Brennan Quirk: "It's okay to be tired, but you have to keep aiming toward the goal."
Brennan Quirk: "When I first started working out I wanted to quit so many times, but I had to stay strong and keep my ground as well as the vision."
Brennan Quirk: "I was so nervous that I was never going to lose the weight, so I would weigh myself everyday. I was extremely impatient. But, with consistency came results."
